I just received my first Integral knife from Steve Filicietti who live in Australia. I was a little nervous to deal with someone outside of the country, BUT he put my mind to easy quickly. He is a great guy to deal with. Now about the knife:

The blade is about 5 1/4" satin finished, 10 1/4 OAL,52100, triple quenched and tempered. The handle bolts and thong tube are 316 stainless. The guard and high points of the blade a mirror finished for a great contrast.
For the life of me I can not remember the handle material (I think that it is Australian Firewood). And it came with a custom leather sheath.

Steve was great to deal with. His delivery time was only a few months. I would definitely recommend his knives.

If you are interested I have a nice pic of the knife but no way of posting it.

Wow, that's a beauty RJ. I like his style. It has grace and style. And even from here, I can see that the fit and finish is excellent. I love that knife. Thanks for postihng the pic Gus.

That sure is a pretty knife! I must say, its nice to see the work of someone outside the United States/North America. Does he have a web site? How are his prices? How about some contact info!

Thanks,

Gus, Thanks for posting the pic. I really need to lean to do that myself.

His prices are very reasonable. For a knife like mine it should be around $500 (US). He has a website I think, but I can not find the address. Email him and he can answer any questions. He is great to deal with. He had emailed me when I posted that I was looking for an integral fighter and the rest is history.

Here is Steve's email address: forge1@powerup.com.au

Thankyou everyone for your encouraging comments. About 80% of the work knives I produce are of integral construction, forged of either carbon steels or damascus. My website is at http://unitedbladeworx.com.au
Thanks again Steve Filicietti.
