First I've made - file knife

Got bored at work over the summer, so decided I could put the shop room to good use and decided to make a knife from a file. It's not completely finished, I just need to put a handle on it, but I've already started working on another one for the manager up here.

Made it from a Nicholson file, but I'm not sure I annealed it properly beforehand because it was pretty hard to work with. Other than using a hacksaw to cut off the excess file from either end, and then a bench grinder to remove the most material from some areas, the rest was done completely with files.

Nice name. Hilarious. Looks like you may want to flatten that tang before putting scales on, otherwise nice effort & keep it up.
 
i dont know what its called but i like the added groves for field use that would be a good thing for wet handes excetra do ad pic wen you finish gunsto
