Getting ready to buy my first Kershaw, I'm having trouble deciding between OD-1 and Mini Mojo. What do you guys think?

ooo000oooh. thats a toughy, i absolutely love my mini mojo, and seeing as how the stud-lock is so unique it'd be hard to look at anything else, but i tell you i am drooling in anticipation of buying a platoon of OD-1's and 2's and sending some off to firebert for some high quality wooden front scales.

when in doubt. kershaw sub-forum motto.......

GET BOTH! :D

Both are similar, and both are different.

One is designed by custom maker Ken Onion. The other is designed by custom maker Lee Williams.

The OD-1 has a really neat flipping system and is very fast to open. The Mini Mojo (in my sig pic below) has SpeedSafe with a really neat integral safety built in the flipper that is very fast to open.

The Mini Mojo has a stud lock and locks up rock solid. The OD-1 has a frame lock and locks up rock solid.

Both are extremely sharp out of the box.

The OD-1 is more Leek-like in shape, while the Mojo is more Bump-like in shape.

The OD-1 is a straight edge. The Mojo is a recurve.

Aesthetically I find the Mojo more pleasing. Sleek curves tip to butt.

The OD-1 has a very nicely done G-10 slab on the non-lock side.

Gaahhh! I'm no help! Get both!

If you settle on the Mini Mojo, PM me for additional important info!

Thanks for all the info, I think I'm gonna get both. The only problem is now I'm torn between the OD-1 and the Packrat.

Someone send him a 2009 catalog. Then we sit back and watch the show! :D

Fortunately I have plenty of checks in the checkbook, but I dont seem to have plenty of dollars in the checking account. Could be a problem.
