I got my first Kershaw today!

I ordered a Mini Mojo last week and received it this morning… I’ve never had an ‘assisted opening’ knife before, so I’ve been playing with it and showing it off to co-workers for a couple hours. After initially being a little stiff, it works like a charm now.

This is a solidly built knife, a bit on the small side if you have largish hands (like I do), but perfect for clipping into the front pocket (like it is now), and it came wickedly sharp right out of the box! I’m working this baby into my EDC rotation, starting right now! :D

I have 2 things to mention though:
1. The clip is a little snug for easy use on denim pockets, ‘cause right now when I push it over the edge of the pocket, I find myself pushing hard enough for the ol’ pants to start sliding down the hips… So I’ll be working it a little for a better/easier fit, aaaand…
2. The thumb studs are loose. Does anybody know if they’re supposed to be this way? If not, what’s the best way to fix them?

Overall though? I’m pretty damn happy!

S'posed to be that way. The flats have to be able to rotate in order to lock.

welcometo the kershaw family! your collection will not end with the mojo, rather yo uhave jsut started an incurable addiction.

No flats on the mojo studs. They still have to be a bit loose, though.
Ah, see? Now I have to out and buy one, so I can at least appear as if I know what I'm talking about. I had assumed they were like Onion's other stud locks. :foot:

Congratulations! Welcome to the club. :)

Kershaw hooked me with their AO on the Blur, that was followed by a fondness for polished G10. Other Kershaws are bound to follow.

I'm not addicted. I can quit anytime I want. Really. Seriously.

Me neither. I can quit anytime. Or maybe when the money runs out. :D

Congratz on your first kershaw, and welcome to this sub forum .

(In case you ever get addicted or feel like you are getting addicted, then the simplest way to avoid the itch is to not look at the pics*)

*disclaimer- I'm not for sure if this works or not, I still can help but look at the oh so pretty pics.

Ah, yes, the pictures . . . stay away from the pictures

I've been adding to my "must have" list for the last few days... Currently topped with a ZT 0200, followed closely by a JYD II.

I'm big on the larger folders apparently.

But I'm still pleased with my Mini Mojo.

:D
