Well I just got my first khukuri. It's a beutiful 18" AK it's exact dimentions are 18 3/8" long, 3/4" thick and about 2 1/2" wide. First thing I did was go out and cut down some chinese elms and it performed wonderfully. The karda is a little dull so I'll need to sharpen it, but as I'm new to knives I am unsure how to go about it so any help would be welcome. Also anything else I should know about?
