Hello this is my first knife ever made. With help and guidance. Give me your honest thoughts. Heat treatment was done by the teacher. As I wanted it done correctly.IMG_0127.jpeg

An excellent first knife! Two comments might be that your fasteners are very proud of the handles and would generally need to be flush or recessed in countersunk holes to avoid being hot spots in use, and that the sharpening notch/choil is a bit inelegant. That latter point could be a big learning experience in handle design - try using this knife in various ways and grips and see what parts there are sharp or otherwise in the way of your hand when using it.

Thank you for the advice. I knew about the holes about the handle but still tried. I will use the knife and see how I can adjust it. I definitely see what you’re saying. Thank you for the advice

Beautiful ! Reminds me of a Steve Ryan knife (I’m a fan and collector) let me know when you start selling them.

I have the second one I should be finished next week. I’ll post it. Less errors on it and better handle
