First knife: Lionsteel M4 (M390) or M5 (Sleipner)

Andy welcome, M4 is nice smaller knife, I like it. Good real world general purpose size & shape. M390 is a great steel, tough and no rust, will be around forever as long you don’t lose it. It will hold a edge for a long time. Light, you could carry all day without noticing it.

Mine came scary sharp! One of sharpest I have gotten. Watch out it can cut!

I have the m3 and m4 (I like the 4 better), can’t comment on the 5 much. But M390 is the better steel.
