Well, since I tinker a lot with my knives at work one of my co-workers asked me if I could make a knife for her. Nothing big, leather handle and an etch of a symbol of a book that she liked a lot ( I read it and liked it too, it's named Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon). I had a piece of 1084 that was going to be my first stick tang project and had been somewhat shaped and showed it to her. She liked the size and a drawing with a new shape I did and got busy with it.
Finished it up last weekend and presented it to her this Tuesday. She liked it a lot and so did my co-workers. The final result was a ffg with slight top swedge 1084 stick tang with leather handle, around 3" of blade (didn't measure it) and overall under 7".
I told her to pay me whatever she felt the knife was worth it, and today I got ... a 20 dollar bill!
I made up my mind that half of whatever I make out of the knives will go into a bike fund piggy.
Hope u guys like it!
