Being new to RAT knives and looking for the first one to buy I finally decided to start at the bottom and work my way up. I just purchased an OD IZULA. Now the wait begins:D
 
I remember that feeling. Welcome to the club, you will be hooked after it comes in. The day my first RAT arrived I was so impressed that I immediately ordered two other RAT models. It is an addiction, you'll see when you hold it in your hands for the first time.
 
Good first choice! I made the same, btw. Don't worry, the knife will definitely please you and make you want even more RAT's. ;)
 
It has been quite sometime since I purchased a new knife as I have had to sale off a lot of my knives over the past few years to pay some bills due to horrible real-estate market in Fla. I almost forgot how it felt to buy a knife ;)
 
There is a thrill when waiting for it to arrive. Even though the Izula is the least expensive, if you are like me it will be your most used.
 
I really feel the need with my new RC 3 Mil to help out in the kitchen with cutting veggies and fruits and meat ect......

make sure you send us some pics when you get it.

Find yourself some paracord to wrap the handle with. Gives you something to do on rainy days and it can come in handy itself. Lots of post on here showing how to do it if you don't already know how.
 
I too am fairly new to this forum and the RAT knives.

I have used a number of different knives and definately like my RC3 ans RC6.

Next I would like to get the RC5.

Yes, this is just the beginning, and the wait won't end until RAT stops coming up with new stuff and you have all of it. Start saving your pennies!
 
Well the first one is here and all I can say is I love it. The size is great and the edge is SHARP :eek:. I will try and get some better picks tomorrow as it is still raining here.

I like that green alot. I really with they had some green ones when I bought mine.
 
Good choice. I got to neck carry mine all day for the first time. It almost feels weird taking it off. I love it.
