looks good. I am glad the makers mark turned out we put on it last night. Being that where both new at this.

Great piece of horn, love the blade shape, nice looking sheath...
You sure you're a beginner?

Long story short. I read every thing I could get my hands on and met a very talented knife maker who lives near me, B Goode. Brian answered a lot of my questions and was kind enough to envite me to his shop. While in a Barber shop talking about knives the Barber asked me if I knew who he refered to as "The Knife Maker" Mr. George Guthrie. I located Mr. Guthrie who has been making knives for over thirty four years. George is very modest but makes what in my opinion is nearly flawless Hunting/user knives. George has spent many hours working with me and critiqing my knives. The knife I posted is number 13 for me. In addition and certainly not least I have spent a great deal of time reading in the forum.

Looks good to me :)
Glad you posted a picture finaly :)

That is an extremely nice knife for no longer than you've been making them. Good job. I am beginning my path down knife making very soon. Been reading every forum I could find, ordered Wayne Goddard's two books to read, looking over styles etc. I ordered a kit knife tonight from Texas Knife Maker's just to get an idea of putting one together...so we'll see how that goes.
