First Knife to embellish/modify

Just started collecting knives a few months ago. I have many sub $75 knives. I have a Para 3 LW, Yojimbo 2 of a little higher quality. Looking to buy a knife to alter (scales, back spacer, lock cage, etc) Currently looking at the Manix 2 and the Bugout. Any suggestions?

If you're looking to maximize your options, the two knives that probably have the most modder support are the Bugout and PM2.
