First knife

So I watched like 100 Walter Sorrels videos and made my first knife from a file. Just thought Id post it here cuz I cant wait to make the next one!

A whole lot better than my first knife, which was from a file and similar in many respects! Keep going!

Files are constraining for full-tang knives because they are so narrow. Try a stick tang version, and you'll have a lot more design options. Read up on fitting a bolster and you're good to go.

Good for you. They only get better from here. Pay attention to blade geometry, heat treat principles, and fit and finish.
