Hey,
I finished my first knife last night! I used the Fronteddu/Steigerwald lockback book to design on PowerPoint a large lockback folder. The blade is A2 steel and 3.8" long. The handle is 410 liners with canvas micarta and g10 accents. I wanted to do this with minimal tool investment, so I used a hacksaw, drill press, files, sandpaper, and dremel for the nail nick. I also went with screw construction so I could tweak it a bunch. I think it turned out well. Far from perfect, but the lockup is super solid and it has good open and closing snap. I did not have to post on BF much during the process, but I constantly had a dozen tabs open for threads addressing various intricacies of the process. What an asset! Thanks for all the wisdom!

Green canvas and copper bolster or accent I'd be asking you how much!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm going to try putting in a shield on one of the next ones. That could look nice in copper!
