Here is a shot of my first knife. I forged the blade at Dan Farr's shop and finished it out at my apartment. I posted a few pics of the knife before it was finished...it's hard to tell the difference between unfinished and complete :). The knife took a while to complete; by the end of the project I realized I needed to buy a grinder, a drill press, a mill, a surface grinder, and a band saw. I still don't have any of those machines, I did by a drill though ;). The knife has a Primos influence, blur your eyes a little and you might be able to see it. Thanks for looking.

http://photos.yahoo.com/mbuswellroberts I can never get photos to post from yahoo, sorry. The pics are in "Roberts001."

First knife, huh? Very nice! I'd have to see it up close, but from what I can see the finish looks very good. Congrats on a fine first knife.

Matt,
Great job! I can't believe you did that all by hand. You should be proud of that one.

Matt,
That's some excellent work. With a steady hand, some hard work and a great teacher you built yourself a real nice little blade. Well done!
