Hello knife folks, Im fairly new to knives. Is a kershaw a good knife? I have two of them. One is a skyline, the other is a assisted wharncliffe. Are they any good, So far i havent used them much , Except for the goat that runs away. I use the wharncliffe for goat rope cutting. they are easy to sharpen {at least the wharncliffe} Why are they so easy to sharpen? How do they stack up against a "Buck Knife?

I have been a fan of Kershaw for a long time. In my opinion I would say as good as any Buck I have owned.

Yes, they are quite good. They are some of the best production knives out there, imho. As far as I'm concerned they kick the stuffing out of your average buck 110, though the buck is by no means a bad knife.

Does the wharncliffe look like either of these?

I've been carrying a Kershaw Skyline every day for the last 3 years. It's really hard to beat it for the money.

Ah, okay. That would be the Kershaw Needs Work.

You done good indeed. You could do much worse for your first knife.
