Got this Monday, and love it. 18" balance.

Got a girl at work to hold it for me.

Really like this blade. haven't done much with it but shine it and admire it so far.

Just sharing, she's a beauty.

Congratulations on your first HI khukuri, Charlie. It will probably not be your last. They can become somewhat of an obsession, to put it mildly. For some reason, I get a real kick out of the first picture of the young lady holding the Balance -something about her expression. :)

Awesome khuk for a first. And great pics too. She seems to have a good attitude about knives. I'm always trying to get my wife to hold a good knife to get a feel of it, but she's completely uninterested. My daughter, though, is totaly into them, and always wants to see the new additions. So, thats good.

Yeah, she likes knives. She had me make a throwing target for her. She knows how to handle them.

I'm gonna cut some brush this weekend. Give the kukri some testing. Feels good in the hand.
