This was a great learning experience. I will definitely be making more for my other fixed blades and maybe a gun or two. If you're thinking about trying to make one, give it a go, it's not too difficult. Nice solid click-in and locks with great retention, perhaps a little too tight. I may drilll a hole for drainage in the bottom, not sure yet. Anyone know how to loosen the retention? Maybe heat the top with a hairdryer? Thanks for looking.

Really late I guess, searched F1's cuz I have one in the mail. Looks like you put the rivets to high towards the handle, probably wont loosen much.

submerge the opening into boiling water justa little. Its trial and error at this point. Too deep, too long of a time submerged, all varies.
