First Large woody!!!!!!!!!

I just got my first sebbie, large woody. I got it used and it does not have ONE SINGLE scratch. I was hoping it would have a couple of scratches just so I wouldn't be freaked out about using it. It is a 2002 classic with madagascar wood. I recently handled many customs at Blade, and I must admit that the Sebbie can hold its own with any of the $500 customs I handled. I got the large because I am a big guy (6'4") and the large felt more comfortable in my hand. Owning this knife begs the question "how in the hell did I make do all these years without one?"

BTW-Picked up a Al Mar Wortac auto in the same deal and it is an awesome knife in its own right. I was skeptical after hearing some issues concerning paragon, but the wortac is a monster of a knife and I have yet to find a flaw with it.

I can't imagine ever not having a sebbie from now on.

Madagascar rosewood is very nice, I had one but sold it to purchase a California Buckeye Burl.

Last year at Blade Show West I talked to Chris and he agreed to make me a large left hand Limited Edition inlay with giraffe bone, a 2004 model. When I talked to him last April at the Solvang Custom Knife Show, he said it would still be a couple months later than he thought due to CRK's backorder situation. I've come to like the large size better so I'm really looking forward to that knife. In my experience, the inlays and the silver contrasts hold up very well for everyday use and carry. I actually got a small blemish on one of my small wood inlays (my first one! ). Heartbroken, I sent it back to Idaho for repair. They sent it back like new and only charged me for postage.
