First Leather-Covered Kydex Sheath

Here are some pics of my first leather-covered kydex sheath:

I experimented quite a bit on this one. I got the leather wet and then put it over the kydex sheath and then put it in my kydex mold. This got the leather in the right shape, making a nice fit easier to attain. I then just glued it on.

Very nice,I belive that by covering the kydex sheath with leather it will make it more user friendly for hunters that don't want the noise of a stick hitting the plastic in the woods...
Has anybody ever tried glueing the kydex together then wrapping it with leather and then drilling so it could have a stitched seam instead of the rivets,that way it would look more like a traditional sheath but with the toughness of the kydex? Then you could still rivet on the kydex belt loopor clip..
