This is my first attempt at a leather sheath to replace the craptastic Buck factory sheath. I know the grooves are crooked, but hopefully I'll get better over time. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

A very good start! :) No worries on a rough look early in your craft, it always gets better with time and practice, well done so far! :D

Nice job! Good job on the basket weave as well, I tried doing it at the leather shop few weeks back and I ended up with a weave that looked like a semi drove over it

Much better! Ability improves with experience.

They all look great from here. Great design, very nice basket weave stamping and uniform stitching. Impressive work!

Here are a couple more that I made to replace the Kydex on my Paul Lusk pair.

Tips and critique are welcomed. I'd like to try a deer skin lined sheath next.

Great job on those! Only thing I see is the point of the weave is a little off center to the point of the sheath but it's heck of a lot better than I can do and still looks fantastic!

If you hadn't pointed it out, I probably wouldn't have seen any groove issues on #1. Now I can see 'em slightly on the last 2 (particularly the small one), but those are just gorgeous and, frankly, for a handmade piece it wouldn't bother me in the least.
Very nice work!
