Hi all!:-)))))

40 min ago i got my first Leatherman. It is a Kick model. It was love at first sight. I had some doubts- they were selling it at ~ 13$, but the moment i touched it...WOW... such a difference - deffinitelly a real one.

I'm impressed. All you need in a small and comfortable pack. And a very good sheath.

That really is my first real multi-tool (not counting the two SAKs (recruit and spartan) which perform great). Till now i've used only cheap china made knife which was very unreliable.

I'm so happy! Be happy with me.
Sorry...a little excited:-)

I wish to all of you such happiness and luck!!

I'll write a row or two and upload some pics after some use.

That's a great price! The Kick is my favorite full-size Leatherman. It's the obvious choice if one mainly wants the pliers, but it also has a nice selection of tools and is fairly lightweight.

I have a kick too and i like that but it is always my vics that i end up carrying.
Where did you get it that cheap I had to pay twice that

I carry a Wave. I had the Kick's bigger brother, the Blast, but the fact that the handles flex when I use the screwdrivers put me off. Also, the smaller of the two flatheads got all twisted when i applied pressure. Good tool, but not as good as my Wave. Never handled the Kick, but good for you that you are soooo happy. Nothing like gettin a new multitool to make one's day.

I live in Bulgaria (Europe). I found the Kick accidentally in a local shop for fishing tools and obviously the seller didn't know what he was selling. That's all for the price. (it was the only one in the shop and i checked - it is not fake)

I used it a bit at home (sharpening sticks, cutting rope and thin cardboard, cutting 2mm steel wire and 3mm Cu cables, working with aluminum sheets, assembly of PC and one rifle optic sight). Nothing really hard.

Works great for now, no damages, resharpened once to restore the edge on the knife (too small angle and can be easily damaged).

I have a Blast too. I never carry it (I bought it on a lark thinking I could re-sell it and haven't got around to trying yet) but I am VERY impressed with it. Hey, the Blast is what it is: A solid, quality tool that's easy to carry and easy on the wallet.

The Kick was my first Leatherman as well. I like it because of the light weight. It got me hooked on mulit-tools.

my first leatherman was an pst. then I kept upgrading

You never forget your first, do you? ;)

My first was also A PST (1997), and although I accumulated several more since, I still use the PST occasionally. I don't find any of the others an upgrade. Each fills a particular niche.

I have a Juice S2

Fits the pocket great. No snag. Nice tools for the size and money. Mine was around $40 though. That is a great buy.
