Hey all, I finished my first linerlock this past week and wanted to share it. Definitely alot of room for improvement and have already made some design changes to that effect, but definitely happy with how this turned out!

I like some of your details. AFAICT, this was not an easy knife to build, and as a one off, means a tremendous amount of hand work.

The blade looks nicely proportioned and finished, although for me, the blade is 1/4" short for the handle...I prefer optimum blade-to handle ratio with folders...that seems to get lost a lot these days, unless you are Matt Diskin!

Would like to know the blade thickness, and thickness of your liners. Did you make the pocketclip by hand as well?

Ya thats something i struggled with during the design process, at the beginning the handle was about 3/8" shorter which had the maximum amount of blade for the amount of handle, but i didnt really like the feel in the rear of the hand so i made the handle longer. That left the blade a little short though so i lengthened it also, but didnt want to exceed 3.5" for the length so left it there. In the redesign if i measure right in front of the choil the handle length is a little over 4" and the blade is 3.75" from that point. But i usually like to take my measurements from the midpoint of the knife which is closer to 3.5" for the blade and 4.25" handle

The blade thickness is .124" and liner thickness is .070" relieved on the inside for proper tension. I did make the pocket clip also, it is .035" ti with nice spring and retention. I made alterations to its design for the next blade though, it will be a bit slimmer, the screws positioned slightly closer together, and the clip anodized to match the other Ti hardware.
