Well, it's not perfect or even as good as I'd like, but the action works right and it feels good in my hand. This is going to be my EDC/prototype/test model. Need to relocate thumb bob on future models(need to get thumb bobs, this one is a piece of nickle silver I turned in the lathe and is piened in the blade and had to modify to clear the linner/frame)

The handle is desert ironwood and the linners are 15&20 cold blued, the blade is O-1 and thanks to Ray Rogers, his tutorial is the main reason the action works right. I have a nice pile of scrap built up now.

The dark spot on the handle is a supper glue/wood dust fill in, I realy didn't need a hole there!

Man that's sweet! Looks real comfy and friendly. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing.

It's not my first atempt at a linner lock, but it is the first one that funtions right. It's not up to my fit and finish standards, but hopefully when I get back off the rig in a couple of weeks I can start on a couple that will be.

Note to self, don't use oily handle material as it aids in slipping out the pocket, lost and found the thing three times arleady!

Will, Looks good to me! I did one lock back a number of years ago. I used up my alocated time and patients on that one. Maybe when I get my shop addition done and have more space I may get orginized enough to try it again.....
