'K, I guess most of you know where this is goin', so let's jump right in. I am still waiting for my BK2 with a new sheath to come back home, so I thought I'd let my 9 serve as a model tonight. I actually used the nekkid lady quite a bit over the last 3 days helping out with tornado relief. Nothing but a dry rag got her lookin' purdy again, dontcha think?

More to come when my deuce comes home.

Thanks again Sh@rp. And thanks for the extras in the package too! Dang man, you're a helluva craftsman, and a helluva generous guy too. Really appreciate it.

i have a set of those coming. they really are unique and don't look like any other scales. flashy but mean at the same time. how do they feel in hand?

I really can't give a good review for feel yet. I got home about 8:30, grabbed a shower, ate some chow, and remembered I'd looked at the tracking info before I left this morning. Went out to the mail box, they were there, bolted 'em on, wiped my nekkid lady and started taking pics. Uploaded to Photobucket, posted the pics here, and I'm about shot for the week I think. Won't be out in the field tomorrow because I gotta work a 3rd shift tomorrow night. Probably next week before I can really start to test 'em.

First things first - Sh@rp is an artist.
these things are impressive.
second - Blues is a MUCH better picture taker than I am. :)
Third - I'm going to shut up and post pics now.

3 sets of handles received today

balance on the BK 12 is about 1 1/4" back from the front of the scales

BK6 is balancing on the izula 2 handle - the fat scales moved the balance point about 2 1/2" closer to the scales. (sorry about the dirty blade - it's cedar sap)

the checkerboard pattern is very grippy - it'll be fun to try it out this weekend to see if any hot spots occur. The finely checkered fatty's are decently grippy, but the pattern doesn't feel sharp or like it will cause abrasions during use -- guess well find out soon.

those are pretty nifty... i think i'm needing some scales for the Escabars. mmm! ponder!
