I think we had the first M9LE put up for sale here and it sold three minutes after it was posted. I know several members who have told me they're kicking themselves for not getting in on this knife originally and are now going to have to get one on the secondary market.

i believe you are right!

im not gonna sell mine...its my first bussekin LE....and one heck of a knife!

wish i could see the BLADE selection :hint hint:

I'm kicking myself for having only bought ONE. I saw that f/s thread, and said "darn, that went fast."

Congrats on whoever got it!

Yeah that was me. I scored a second that I was going to give to my brother but found myself short of funds. I was going to sell my nmsfno, but decided to keep it and give my brother one of the Scrapper 5's I ordered when they come in. So the first one sold is by someone who has a backup :D I don't think anyone is getting rid of this thing because they don't like it. One sweet blade for sure.

Good for you on your sale, brother! My intent wasn't to disparage anyone for selling these but just to point out how quickly it sold and how these will be a hot commodity on the secondary market! I wish I had bought two!

I did not get one of these and I do not have any regrets. I cannot afford--or more importantly, use--every knife that comes down the pike that I think I might like. In this case, I simply determined that even if I had it, I would choose my SHBM over this knife if I could only have one. I also have a Satin Battle Rat that is surprisingly nimble for its size, and of course is extremely capable as well. All in all, I just could not justify the M9, although I have no doubts that it is a fantastic knife. I just made the determination early on that it was not for me. Still, there are other designs pending from the Swamp that I will "need" to get my paws on.

I have a relatively large collection of Busses and Rats in all sizes but there's just something about the M9 that makes it special.

Yeah, absolutely no offense taken. I just though I'd chime in since I was the the person who sold one. I think that it is a testament to the knife that more have not come up already.
