first mora classic 2 or 612 help

Hey guys I'm new here even though I have read many of your reviews and discussions and I thank you for all of the great information I have received I'm getting ready to order my first mora but I'm having a hard time deciding on which one to buy I have narrowed it down to the classic 2 or 612 I guess the main thing I'm having a hard time with weather or not to get the gaurd or not please help I have many knives and even have the cold steel survival edge and I like it (please don't laugh to hard) I also have higher end knives but most seem to be overhyped for me in general bushcraft or camping I'm starting to ramble sorry so hello and please help

Well to continue my ramble I have large "survival" knives but I have come to enjoy smaller less exspensive knives I brought a knock off tracker and the cold steel survival edge and did all my tasks perfectly and enjoined useing these two knives before that I went with nothing and tried the good old twenty dollar walmart trip and picked up the Coleman fixed blade from the camping isle and enjoyed useing that as well so the survival edge was my first Scandinavia grid style knife and liking it I started looking into the mora knives and really like the classic series but I'm not sure about the guard or not so I hope to get a little mora help here thankyou for any advice
