hey guys,
i was wondering what mora knife would be right for me.It will be used for camping, hunting, fishing and everyday use. I would like to have a durable and dependable fixed blade. I would also like to get a carbon steel blade. my price limit is around 20 bucks....thanks

I, personally, like the craftsman model. The handle fits me pretty good. I would check www.ragweedforge.com, go to the page with all the mora's on it, and look around for one that seems like it would fill the bill for you. I have never heard anything negative about any of the more models, so it will be pretty difficult to go wrong

You should be very pleased with your purchase, and will more than likely soon find yourself purchasing other models to try.
The different handle types all offer some degree of versatility, and you may find that you like the grippy ones better, or the wooden handled ones fit you better. Have fun:thumbup:

The #780 is one of my favorites. Another favorite carbon steel Mora of mine in the #911 KJ Eriksson model. The rubbery handle offers excellent grip. It has a nice sheath, too. The #911 is the one on the bottom left in the picture below. It's sheath is the one in the picture:

I got my first 510 this weekend(I got ripped apparently as I paid 12$:D) and it seems to be just the ticket for a knockabout knife.

I like the fact that it actually snaps into the sheath and has a measure of retention compared to some of the other models.

you should get a 510 now as well, nab one before they are out of stock, they're discontinued! I might have to get another :)
