Well...this aint too bad. The paddle style is bulkier in its construction but for the life of me I had trouble with the wrap around style. Any hints?

What I had the most trouble with was the molded back on the wrap around. Any one have any advise?

If you want a flat side on the sheath, just put less foam on that side in the press. Could even go with no foam at all on one side, but you'll want a lot on the other side. I'd also put another peice of kydex (cold) or something in between the knife and the press as a liner so it doesn't get messed up if you go without foam.
Lately I've just been doing the wrap thing and letting both sides mold to the knife. Then I heat the belt loop up and mold it to match the contours of the knife and sheath. That way the side of the loop against the sheath matches its contours and then you just pull the other side of the loop out and square it up.

Thats a real nice job for no more kydex than you done though. Better than what I've been turning out, I'm getting tired of the stuff :barf: Gotta get some spare time and try leather.

do you have any pictures of the backs? can you shoot a couple when you have time?

Don't have any on hand right now. I'll take some pictures of the next one though. Sometime this week probably :)

where did you get your hardware? I am liking the allen heads instead of the rivots that I have been using.

I have sone on order. Its just a folded loop that will fit in different positions due to the hole placement......Works great for mounting to backpacks and the like.

I got the screws and washers from the hardware store. MSCdirect.com had the binding posts. I like them better too....

That turned out great Brian. I know the stuff makes a practical sheath I just like leather better.
