My G10 Leek arrived! Although not a huge fan of the stonewashed finish, I do like the look of the G10, and am curious to see how the S30V holds an edge. So far, it has that sharp-right-out-of-the-box edge. I am pleased so far, but have another G10 coming (1660PGT) that I am curious to compare it to. The knife is a little less "snappy" on opening, but will work with it and hope this will improve with time like my other Leek. Here is the photo;

Nice spread. The ZDP Shallot, G10 Leek, and 1660TSW are among my favorites. Good taste in knives SJD1!
 
Very nice! Did you snag the PGT off the bay? I was watching one there, but with the 30th Ann. Blur up, and grabbing a G10 Leek for under $ 50 shipped I didn't bid on the PGT.

Nice score on the G10! I got mine on sale and was still more than that. Of course I also am paying 20% on top due to dollar conversion. I never seem to find these steal of a deal ones :(
 
very nice i just got one from santa, mine didnt come that sharp but i touched it up on the sharpmaker and it nearly shaved my arm off never mind the hair on it :D
 
I been thinking of getting one of the Leeks with the G10 handle for my collection. Love the knife design and the extra grip would be nice. A smoky blue handled leek will arrive within the week and go into my suit pocket most likely.
