Here's my second attempt at a Loveless designed Chute Knife (I messed up the first one big time, it's amazing how much goes into making one of these -the more steps .... the more chance for mistakes):

ATS-34 with brass hardware and black canvas micarta scales. Heat treated to HRC 61.

Any comments or advice are appreciated! Thanks.

As you know, nobody will buy a knife with a brass guard, so I think you should just write this one off and send it to me. :D

In all seriousness, though, I like it. A little too much belly for my taste (though that seems to be the trend in chutes, lately?) but I'd still be durned happy to have that on my belt.

That is one good lookin blade! Very impressive work... the only thing I would change about it is the sheath, I think a Black sheath would suit this knife a little better...

Beautiful work Marcus   :)

I think you've captured the Loveless look exceptionally well,
and no offense shadow ;), but I love the sheath !!
That too, IMHO, captures the "look" perfectly

Excellent !!

Good looking chute.
Very clean. I would also want a little less belly.
A black sheath would look good but I believe it's more important to keep
with the Loveless style and color.

I like everything about it, just the way it is! I would love to handle that knife!

Simply gorgeous!
A little too much belly is a sign of good living.
Trust me ;)

Very, very nice Marcus, I guess this one will be soon on it's way to me. I commisioned this one after I got a Loveless style drop point just before Xmas and was so pleased with the high standard of work that Marcus did I ordered two more of him a Wilderness and a Big bear both of course in the Loveless style.

Nice pick up, Rick.
Agree with Kevin on the cleanliness, nice work, Flatgrinder.

Thanks for all the feedback! Comments noted and appreciated.

(Hey Rick, I've started on the Wilderness. It's a Lawndale-era version and has a 6" blade. :D )
