All very nice, that 2nd drop point is awesome. Glad to see a fellow Texan on here. Your about 2 hours from me.

Peace,
Steve

Thank you very much. I am working on some more this week and will be putting them up here soon. 2 hours which direction? If you come out this way give me a shout.
Dan

I'm about an hour west of Houston on I-10.

After I "catch up" a bit on some bills, I'll be talking with you about a small bushcraft type knife.

You do take orders right?

Peace,
Steve

Dan, nice work. You've got another pretty good maker right there in Montgomery. Charlie Majors, give him an call and get acquainted.

Paul

I know Charlie. His son and my brother are best friends and work together. I went to school in Magnolia with his step daughter. My brother uses one of his knives instead of mine LOL. Mitch Wilkins is 1 mile from my house too. Paul I love your work, if I can make something worthy I want to get a sheath from you. Thank you for your comments.
Steve, get in touch when you can and yes I do take orders. You live in Sealy maybe? I have friends there and a couple real funny stories about that town. Thank you again.
Dan Combs

Steve send me an email when you get a chance. I would like to ask you something but you don't have that function right now.

I saw this thread & had to say hey Dan...I'm lovin' #2.
It feels sooo good in my hand.It is very light at 3/32" thick, and well rounded where it needs to be & sharp where it should be.
Here's a pic of the sheath I made for it today.
Like the knife,it ain't perfect,but it'll do the job.:o
Thanks for the great knife Dan.
Despite my nit picking I do look forward to more from your shop.
Oh & I'm hitting the woods tomorrow so I'll probably give you a call sunday.
