I'd been waiting for an AD to come up for quite some time, it being the knife that first drew me to Busse. So when the Muddy EDC offerings came up I jumped at the chance.
Being a kydex kind of fan I was shooting for some OD or Coyote Kydex to match my muddy AD and settled on a Okuden sheath.
At this stage I'd like to thank Brian @ Okuden for his infinite patience with my constant emails asking if anyone was sending him a Muddy AD for sheathing ^_^
I forget what the designation of the sheath is but it came with;
- 1 x IWB Loop
- 1 x Large Tek-Lok
- 2 x Molle-Lok
Initial impressions
Fit and finish are second to none. Covers enough of the knife to enspire confidence, exposes enough to allow fast presentation.
The break of the kydex was suprisingly light, breaking even when just tucked in my jeans. However, inverting the sheath and shaking as hard as I could, the knife would not shift even at the slightest.
