Well, just when I was starting to get the hang of it.....and begin to actually produce knives that will have price tags on them my cousin showed her brother inlaw my homepage.....

he wants 3 in July......Thats alot of knives for a partimer on a short notice....so..
I have 1 more almost done. 1 just finished...and the ones used by me will go for a lower price than if I made them..oiled them and placed them for sale...

Even though its a family contact it does feel good :p

Oh yeah..I may have to charge way under for my sheath making abilities at the moment but we'll see how that progresses over the summer .......

I am a happy boy

Congratulations! You are an official knife maker now, bro. Even though your first sale is to family, the ice is broken and you are on your way.

I have just looked at your web site. You have some nice knives. I am sure that you will soon have a steady stream of orders. I especially like your camp knife. Please send me a message on what you will be charging for your camp knife so that I can start putting away my spare pennies.

You're on your way ! Now make each knife better than the previous one !

Yep, you are indeed on your way,You may as well go ahead and sell all your fishing equipment, and your hunting gear, cancell all memberships to every thing you belong to, build you a dog house to stay in when she is mad for you spending too much time in the shop, because it sounds like the knifemaking bbbbbbug has not bite you once but twice.continue on .

email me airyq.....the private messaging thing didn't work....

Thanks for the encourgement guys!

BL, I new it all along. Just a matter of time. Your days of deciding what knife you would like to make are soon to fanish.

BTW, Tess Nelson (J's wife) can take care of your sheath problems.

She is great...never complained much (yet...)

rlinger, I have a local leathersmith who is going to sit down with me in about 5 weeks to show me some tricks. I am going to take the plunge and work on some sheaths after I get the last one made and an older one I have reconditioned to new ...sort of :p

I am excited though....

My main goal is to just keep learning and not try to bite off more than I can chew.......
