Here's my first attempt to pour pewter caps for my hawk handles. I was quite pleased how they turned out, so I will do this again.

thanks for lookin,

Bill

I will tell you this Bill. Your hawks are getting to be a pain. Now I have to try to make one that's pretty as well as functional!!!! :footinmou ;) :p

That is one beautiful job though!

Good looking hawk and good job on the pewter, one of these days I'm going to have get some casting pellets and give it a try, it realy adds something to the hawk

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments, I've put quite a bit of time in this one. I've got over 8hrs. in the inlay alone, I know I'm pretty slow at that, but still thats a lot of time with your head down looking at a tiny chisel and small hammer. lol

IG, open your eyes son. :D

Thanks again,

Bill

Wow -- the whole package is amazing. How does the the "pewter pouring" go?

I love the "angular" curves of the 'hawk head -- beautiful.
