First pics here

IMO you'll be a great addition to the already great knife maker's here on BF. I love pouch style sheaths myself.

Look forward to seeing your pieces and post them in the sales area for the BF knife nuts. Don't forget to include details of materials used and blade/handle lengths

nice!!!! very old school. Now you will get plenty of time to make more this winter as you stand very close to your forge to keep from freezing to death up there:D

Thanks for the compliments.I did'nt get into details untill I was sure I could get pics posted.

The bowie on top is forged from 3/8"x 1-1/4" 5160, stainless fittings, red fiber spacers and stabilized African Zebrawood. On it's way out as soon as I finish the sheath.

The one in the center is the first knife I forged [5160] that actually became a knife. Hammer marks in the blade and no plunge lines but left that way so I have reason to keep it!! Also stainless fittings, leather & stainless spacers and figured maple that was originaly firewood. I made this one about four years ago.

The small bird-n-trout is the last one I finished.Just left as it was ordered for a christmas gift.Forged from 5/8" 5160 round stock.Brass fittings with leather & brass spacers and whitetail antler.Sheath made and stitched by me,also made the stamps that I did the tooling with.

Thanks for looking, and best holliday wishes to all!!!!

Thanks Kieth. The picture isn't very good. For a large knife,it's ballanced pretty well. Behind the guard, there is a red spacer, fluted throat and another red spacer, then the zebrawood. Glad you like it!

Soon as I dig up some cash,I'm DEFINATELY getting a better camera. This one's a cheapy and it shows!! That's as close as I can get and have a sharp pic!!!

Thanks Barks, glad you like the knives. My pics are getting better but lots of room for improvement.

And best holliday wishes to you, and all who stop in!!

Thank you bennett. I've thought of making one similar with what I've learned over the past few years but there is so much to make,I have'nt gotten to it. Thanks for the compliment!!
