These are handled in paduk and the steel is 1095.

The top one is my Cobra. The bottom is my interpetation of a Nessie. Hope you enjoy....
 
They both look good to me. I hope you are using a respirator when working with paduk. You don't want that stuff getting in your lungs.
 
Oh yeah. Respirator or mask, always outside with a fan blowing across the work table....Paduk is some nasty stuff. But it DOES work up nice.....
