first pictures of BCCI knife!!!

well i tell you what ...there are certnetly advantages to comeing to the
BCCI spolnsered shows!!!
i got to cherry pick my fund raser BCCI tang stamped knife personly from the First 50 made!!!!:thumbup:;) :cool::D
here is the tang stamp- every one will be ground a tad diffrently .. i checked

my requirements were solid blackest black on the presentation side and a hint of white on the back side ...
the blade is the same shape as the spear point on the old Liner Locks!!

take my word on this one it is soooo very much more lovely
to have and hold in your own hand!!!:thumbup:
a darn hard one to put down!!!!
darn good thing it was only one each tell every one has a chance!!
oh and i was not the only one cherry picking a fav!!!
several others did also.. too bad you guys could not make it. :p
all i can say is : i got exalty the one i wanted !!! :D:D

I love the overall appearance of the knife, and the tang stamp is an excellent idea. I'm just glad I scrounged enough spare change to order one. I have faith that Larry or John will pick me out "a good one"

well i kinda got to admit i only opened 2 boxes and picked the 2ed one!
others opened some to look at their knife and i tell ya they are all good!
some have full black on both sides most have a tad or streak of white on one side or the other and it is good looking both ways..
every one seemed to want the 1st or 2ed they looked at!!!
 
Good looking knife. I looked at the picture in the BCCI newsletter and commented to my wife that this is one that I must have. ;) She rolled her eyes and showed me a picture of a $400 handbag she just had top have. :o:(
What is a guy to do? :foot:

While Trax is correct, I have collected two more of those than I needed. Don't fish off the company pier.
Dave is correct too. I got this current version up to spec. She's a keeper.

My Wife du Jour is pretty cool about my Buck aquisitions.

BUT, I got a hint during vacation last month that there is something rumbling...the "rumbling" was a quick comment on the beach in the form of "we could probably save more for other trips if you quit buying so many Bucks". (As if a Buck a month is gonna get my butt on a plane somewhere cool)
No response from me...verbally or in body language. Just took a sip of my beer and walked over to the shore to take a pic of my 110 in the sunset.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop.

As for the current knife of this thread...I guess vacation is off by another Buck :) ;)
 
How is the bike coming along Goose? Oh Yea I took your and Messy's
advise and bought a 889 today.Now where is that camera?

Hey Jeff...
Thanks for asking. The scoot came home a week ago today. Down for four months...and today it is raining :(

I am really looking forward to your opinion of the 889. I think it's a GREAT knife.

Think I need to send a check in for the BCCI knife. I don't think Decaf is gonna send the one I thought he picked out just for me ;)

Yeah, the logic of my not buying a new Buck now and how that would help with more trips escapes me. :confused: Especially since I've not purchased any new additions for awhile. :(

So, I have told myself that I "deserve" the BCCI blade. See? That was easy.

But I determined that I "earned" a 110 FG Damascus Koa with pins. :)
Heard it is 9 weeks out.

That is going to be one gorgeous knife, Goose! I have been toying with the idea of a second Koa, but now I am going to wait to see yours. :thumbup:
