I was at wally world this morning. Laying in the bottom of the knife case is a Buck 632 Mesa Knife, full tang, micarta looking scales, looked to about a 5 inch blade, hard black plastic sheath. I cannot find any info on this knife at all. it looked great. Kind of stumped on this one. I did email buck to see if this is legit

This one?

Nice knife. I see the American flag in the top right corner of the package. Made in the USA. That's a plus in my book.

It looks similar to a Sentry Model #0822BKX-B or Endeavor Model #0622BKX-B which is on the BUCK website.

Maybe BUCK threw this out in the marketplace to see what kind of "Buzz" it would get. Here ya go BUCK. Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzz. You can release it now.

I'm interested, need to check my local store when I get out again. I have the Endeavor and like it well enough.

I just grabbed one from wally world they had 2. It was $44

Just picked one up. First opinion of the knife it feels much like the Buck sentry, with a sand blasted blade and a fake tek loc style sheath. F/F is better on my knife than in the video. The spine was a 90* hard spine, that i'm pretty sure you could use a fero rod on. The blade is not 440 it's 420 Hc (bummer) cause i'm not particle to stainless steel and even less impressed with 420 HC in a field knife. I like the micarta slab handle and the thumb ramp isn't to extreme. for a $44 knife its a 6.5 out of 10 fore me.

Well I was attempting to see whether the spine of this knife could peel material off of a fero rod, and I slipped and removed the entire pad of my left thumb. It bled like a sive, and I went through piles of gauze pads. The knife came razor sharp.

Ouch, I hope it heals quickly. I've been doing stuff like that more frequently. Bandage free for a week now, knock on wood.

I don't mean to sound insensitive at all; but I can't seem to read this post without chuckling.

It has nothing to do with the trauma... I think the gratuitous nature of the last sentence is at fault.

Shit happens, it's all good, if you play with knives your going to cut yourself. Whstever

I just picked one up from Wally World on a whim and for the money, it's a keeper. Not quite awesome, but for 40ish bucks, there is a lot in the package. In time, I'll probably round the micarta a little more and get rid of that exposed tang pommel, or at least round it off a little. Came very sharp out of the clam shell. Sheath is well made and very functional.
