If were talking about the same thing, then yes it should have it on both sides.

I just pulled 5 recent ones out and they all are swedged on both sides.
 
Thanks for the reply. I added pictures. Do you think that this should be returned? If so, would you return it to where it was bought from for a replacement or the factory for repair?

Thanks for the pictures, turns out I was not on the same page with you, what you are seeing there is normal, all of mine have that. I was thinking about more forward on the blade as it drops towards the point.

The grind marks on yours are a little extreme though! :eek:
 
The pictures are pretty zoomed in. To the naked eye, the grind marks do not look any deeper than they do on the hollow grind. The pictures are only of the blade from the nail nick forward. It might not be clear, but on the non logo side of the blade, there is no swedge at all. All the way to the tip it is swedgeless.

Yeah, that is normal. I think it's done to radius the blade spine on the outer edge, so it won't be so sharp in your pocket.
