So, a couple of years ago, I used to be super knowledgeable about blade shapes, steel types, sharpening angles, knife types, sword types, etc. Now I have forgotten and want to get back into it. Where can I relearn?;)

Welcome!

And the answer is...... here.

Click on the Forums tab at the top and it will show you pretty much all the subforums that this place has to offer. Poke around for a bit. Read, read, read, and then read some more.

Right here in General Knife Discussion is a pretty good place to start. Once you have a feel for the place, you'll know where to place specific questions.

Also, be careful. Your bank account may drop significantly if you hang here for too long.;)

WELCOME!

As benchwarmer said, be sure to explore the subforums.

Here in "General Discussions" is good for just that. The "Shop Talk" subforum under "Knife Makers Discussion" is good for detailed techy questions and how-to's.

I learned most of my current knowledge from just perusing the forums here, searching it for threads related to what I was trying to figure out, and just browsing everywhere I could think of to attain general information about knives.

There's tons of info everywhere on this forum, all you gotta do is just read threads, any and/or all of them. :)

This is fantastic advice! Read a bunch. All that "knowledge" will come back!
