I made this suggestion on the Spyderco Facebook page, but any thoughts on the Tenacious line doing some runs of different colored G10s?

I'd love to have an orange Tanacious, blue Ambitious, etc.

I just got back into knives in the past few months, so most of what I know is from Nutnfancy and some other great Youtubers!

Welcome to the forums.

According to Sal they are looking at upgrading the Tenacious with better steel and higher quality G-10 but still be made overseas. I will buy lots of those if and when they make it to production. Haven't heard anything about different color scales though. I would buy 5 in the blue, like the pm2 sprint run. Love that color just cant fork out that much $$ for a knife.
 
Well, the first thing I noticed when I started getting back into knives (dec 2011) were these Spyderco Delicas, Enduras, etc in all these colors. I was blown away, lol. I had a Delica from 1992...the blade was shorter due to a bad sharpening job, and I never carried it. I got a Blue Delica (oddly it has a slight play in side to side and up and down), a Green Endura, a foliage green Ladybug, then I got an Orange KA Bar Dozier(hey, $20), then really started looking into the sprint runs and some more expensive things, i.e. Manix 2, PM 2, etc. I can see going broke(r) now! I just got some Maxpedition stuff and now have a first aid kit and Man Purse with me all the time, hahaha.

It's getting addictive. I've already ordered from Miles Stair (County comm stuff) and started making my paracord lanyards!

I am all down for knives with different features, including colors with handles.

You know what I was thinking would be the best? If you could actually customize, directly at Spyderco, a knife. You know, I just splurged and got myself custom Reebok
sneakers via the customisation options (aka build your own sneaker), choosing every aspect. It would be neat if, at some level at least, you could do the same for a knife.

I can imagine that in the real world a business model like that wouldn't work, but hey one can always dream, right? :)

I Want The Blue One, And I Will Get It Lol.
 
I second the 'customize a knife' option. I love that Benchmade offers it with the Grip and it would be a blast to do the same thing with a Military, PM 2, Manix 2, etc.
