First post - caught the bug

Picked up my first Becker on Monday decided after much research to get the bk22, it is an absolute beast! Wanted something a little lighter so decided to order the bk10 and the bk7 plus a couple of sets of Micarta handles.

Installed the handles tonight and love them. The grivory handles seem a little slick, wouldn't mind trying a light sandblasted finish on them. May have to do that this weekend. I'm a car guy who loves all things mechanical so I've got a pretty decent tool setup.

Seems like a great brand and quality blades. Hopefully this doesn't become too addictive. Amazon makes it too easy to buy more!

Welcome and Congrats!

You'll find that those Grivory scales being a 'little slick' will be welcome after some extended chopping. Try a little 100grit sandpaper before sand blasting.

Yeah the whole addiction not going well already ordered the bk13 to fill the extra slot in the bk7 sheath. Very good strategy as nobody wants an empty slot on their sheath.

Very pleased with these knives. I don't mind spending money but the things in life I really enjoy are things that I think have great value for the price. I like to feel like I get my money's worth. These Beckers certainly meet that.

Nicely done with the 4 in one week. Don't forget to grab a 5 and 15 while you're at it (trust me I'm a random stranger on the internet), they are must haves and are going out of production!

Stick around for a while! don't for get to post up some pictures after you smash the new off of those good looking blades!
