I have been viewing here for a while and decided it was time to give back. I am going to give away two GEC knives which will be a surprise to the winners.


The contest will end on 11/20/2015 and ill pick the two winners then.

The only requirement Is that you need to post a picture of your favorite traditional knife.

Not an entry.

But for me a huge question --- Favorite traditional? That's like picking your favorite child. Here's a pic of ten of my scouts, which is my favorite pattern:

Welcome! Quite a way to make your entrance, very much appreciated. I hope you're considering custom traditionals because my T.A. Davison barlow is #1 for me.

Welcome to The Porch, ackjm24! Hosting a GAW is always very generous and surprisingly common around here, but doing it with your first post in the subforum is very unusual! :cool::cool:

I've discovered that it's very difficult to pick my favorite knife! :eek: Almost every one I have has something special about it, at least in my eyes! :rolleyes:
I'm going to go with this Camillus electrician's knife. It's the first used knife I ever purchased and cleaned up; that's what I hoped to do when I got interested in pocket knives a couple of years ago. And even though it's a "work knife", I think its blade shapes and the shape, color, and texture of its handle makes it one of the best-looking, most elegant knives I own!
