hi everyone. and now to my first question.do you have a test on the DUstar knives.i am impressed with the busse(excuse me but by the following here i might need to capitalize that word:D) but i am looking for info on any survival/tac type blades to go on my GHB(get home bag)thank you and any info you give will be held in the strictest confidence until i am ask by the next person.

Busse is capitalized, as the last name of Jerry Busse (pronounced bus-see). I don't recall any tests of the Dustar. I held one, but didn't get a chance to use it, at a knife show.

You don't need to buy the most expensive. You can also get good survival/tactical knives from Chris Reeve, Bark River, Bob Dozier, Strider, Ranger, RAT Cutlery, as well as Busse. You can also get reliable big fixed blades from more everyday production companies like Boker, SOG, and Spyderco.
 
thanks feller i am going to be at the blade show in atlanta and intend on looking at many knives i understand Busse will be there.
 
The Blade Show will give you a chance to see just about everything. :)
