I have over 150 knives in my collection. They are about half traditional and half more modern designs. The modern designs include many spydies , BM and most of the Onion designed Kershaws. I decided it was time to try a ZT. I have a 350 TS due in Wednesday. I am looking forward to putting it through it's paces. Is this a good representation of the ZT knives? Thanks for any info.

How does the 350 compare to the buck/tops csar/t as for as build quality and ruggedness.

I think it compares quite well to the Buck knives and TOPS. I think some of the more modern Buck knives are on par with Gerber and the TOPS knives are more heavy-duty than the Bucks. The 0350 is, arguably, one of the gateway ZT's. By that, I mean that people that get a 0350 tend to recognize it as a great knife and then many move up to the 0560 and 0550 variants. Of course, there are many other models, but that is just my take on your question.

Thank you. The question was a comparison of the CSAR-t, the overbuilt collaboration between Buck and Tops. I had guessed it was a more heavy duty knife than my Buck Vantages. I have a few Tops fixed blades but no folders with the exception of above mentioned collab which is a tank. From what I have read about the ZT knives I had thought maybe a few ZT owners have given the CSAR-t a try. Thanks folks.

Can't go wrong with any ZT in my opinion. 0350 is a smaller ZT but a great knife.

Now chase that 350TS with a ZT 0550 and you can get your ZT on big time.

Same route I followed, I bought a 350 first and enjoyed it for quite some time. I just got my first 0550 recently and have another one in the mail now. The 350 is in a friend's hand's now, he will use it more than I; the 550 is occupying all of the pocket time.

Same here, 350 was my first and it quickly escalated.

Congrats on your first ZT, they are definitely great knives. They make some cool fixed blades as well.
