Hi my names Dylan and im planning on buying my first quality knife soon. ive narrowed it down to a BK-2 or BK-7. Im leaning towards the seven. I was just wondering if my best bet is to buy in the US and ship to canada - could possibly save some money as I need to buy a few stones to sharpen as well at the same time, its time to get my own stones - or just buy locally in canada. I see the knives retail for about 65-80$ in the us as compared to 120$+ up here. so whats your guys opinions?

Thanks, Dylan

ill take a look into them for sure. plus i could always get the Mrs. to buy me another one for my birthday. :)

ANY BK&T knife ROCKS !!! I love my BK-7. Does more than you think it should & laughs in your face. I have 50-100 fixed blades, only 3 have custom sheaths, BK-9, BK-7 & my Gerber Metolius fixed blade, which is riding piggyback on either the bk9 or bk7 sheath.

Welcome to blade forums! :) don't know anything a Lot BK&T but I do know they are all great. Thought I would say hello and welcome

Hey nice to see another Canadian. I usually just get them shipped to my friend on he American side of the border and go pick them up. It's really convenient for me since it takes me a fifteen minute bike ride to get to his house. I don't buy locally anymore because I can just get them online for cheaper and with free shipping.

thanks guys ill check out warriors and wonders. also the picking them up stateside might be an option. the bk series seems like a good starter knife and maybe a nicer one later.
