I started designing and making knives about a year ago, so I'm still a newbie and struggle through every step of the way. I've made around 10-12 knives, most of those given away to family and friends.

I am wondering what you all think about this design and perhaps some changes that I could make to it. I made it for puncturing, not slicing, although it will cut fairly easily. Specs are D-2 steel from a planer blade and it is chisel ground.

BTW, this photo was taken with my phone, so my apologies for the quality...

Thanks !

Is it sax or a tanto? I like it--the wrap looks nice as far as the pic allows one to see. Seems like the "wrong" edge is sharp--perhaps it is the photo. Anyway, it looks good.

I will post a better photo later today. I suppose it does look like the spine is sharp in this photo....the next one I will post will have more detail.
