Just a note to break the ice and say hello to everyone. I've been following the forum for a while now, and felt it was time to join in. There is a wealth of information here and I hope I can contribute something to it someday.

Greetings, welcome, and howdy!

What type of knives are your main interest?

I'm mostly a folder fan. Big fan of automatic knives. Like good hard working fixed blades as well.

:)

Thanks for the warm welcome, I do appreciate it.

Elvislives: I regularly carry both folding and fixed blades, so a good, strong dependable design in either gets my attention. I must say though, practicality issues aside, it's hard to beat a good fixed blade.

Bobwhite: If only I could!

Welcome BS. Hope you enjoy this place and it's people a5t least as much as I do.

Welcome to the Bladeforums, Blue Sky!!! :D

Hope you enjoy being a member of the BEST website for knife discussion on the net. :D ;) :D

Welcome to the Forums. I've been on for more than a year and still learn something new about knives everyday.

Welcome, as an initiation, you need to send all those who welcome you a knife.;)

Great idea. In that case: "Welcome. Welcome. Welcome." Now, send me those three knives!:D

Seriously, if you think there might be a better place out there to learn about knives and meet nice, "real" people - there isn't. It's that simple.

So - welcome!

I am also new here. I have been collecting for a few years and I like especially folders. My favourites are CRKT M16, Benchmade 710 and Opinel.

Welcome Blue Sky!!!!

Welcome Jupe!!!

I am happy you have discovered our community.

Jupe,
Those CRKT M16 are hard to beat. I carried one as an EDC for quite a while. The opinel is classic, and while I never owned the BM I know it is good too. Sounds like you are off to a good start.

Come on, Lurkers! Drop on in and say hello. See how nice we are? You will be glad you did.
