I'm new to the forum, and have been a 'reader' for about a month now. My interest in Spyderco all started with a photo of the UKPK Drop-Point that I saw somewhere. That knife has the "IT-factor" and I had to have it. The purchase was based on pure design greed. I now have become a Spyderco design groupie(whore). In the last couple of weeks I have purchased the UKPK-DP, then a Mini-Max-PE, then a Gayle Bradely, then another Mini-max-PE.
