My ESEE 4 is crying itself to sleep. It knows daddy got a new favourite child... :D
 
I don't mind the sheath myself but to each their own. Congrats on the tweener, mods planned?

Hey RB! Hope all is well out your way, sir!

Aside from possibly acquiring a new sheath, I'm not sure. I know Ethan's put a lot of work into the scale design (and it shows... lovely!) so I'd love to acquire some after-market micarta handles offered from the factory. Any word on this? If not, I may opt for both a scale and sheath custom job.

The BK16,17,15 are quite small but one thing IMO about them is that as soon as you put them in their sheaths they feel bulky to me. I need to get some kydex for the shorts myself. Im in the process of making some custom micarta right now...

All is returning to normal, had a lot of family stuff come up the past week or so which has lessened my posting but everything is almost settled, hope all is well with you! I also am awaiting factory micarta, I don't mind the zytel enough to go rooting around for custom micarta haha. I have been lusting after Tommy's wooden scales though...

Yeah, I had originally imagined soft-music and candle light as I tenderly ordered a 15, slowly and methodically, but no... I saw the 17 down at the Brick & Mortar and pounced on it like an unwashed savage fuelled by a primal need. Oddly satisfying, perhaps, but I still wants me a 15... :D
 
Not exactly what you want BladeJogger but pretty close here is the ESEE-4 next to a FPR BK-16, the size of a 17 and 16 are close enough I think for you to be able to imagine the size.

Thanks for the pics guys.
I absolutely love my ESEE4,it just needs a little more handle.
The new Beckers (tweeners) look like they'll fit my hands perfectly.
Still going with the 17,but eventually I'll own them all.
